Carnival of the Animals
Narrated by Deia Elwadi, the BPO presents Carnival of the Animals, a delightful and imaginative concert experience for children and families. Under the baton of Fernanda Lastra, this musical journey introduces listeners to a parade of animals, from the majestic lion to the graceful swan, each vividly represented by different orchestral instruments. The concert offers a playful yet educational exploration of the orchestra, encouraging children to associate musical sounds and themes with the unique characteristics of each animal. She will be a panelist for the Race and Diversity Panel for sophomores, taking place on March 13th from 9:38 AM to 10:38 AM, sharing her insights and experiences to inspire and uplift the next generation of women leaders.
